About the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (SHIW) Project

The Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (SHIW) Project exists to address sexual harassment in the workplace. To accomplish this, the federal Department of Justice has provided funding to the project.

Through the SHIW Project, legal clinics throughout Ontario are working to reduce sexual harassment in the workplace and improve access to justice.

This project goes by the name of SHAPE. SHAPE is a coalition of 20 Ontario community legal clinics providing free public legal education and summary legal advice to prevent and address workplace sexual harassment. SHAPE is staffed by lawyers and paralegals.
