Law Day is a national celebration aimed at promoting a better understanding of the law and highlighting the important role the justice system plays in today’s society. As part of its Law Day activities this year, Legal Aid Ontario invited Grade 5 students from across Ontario to submit posters on this year’s theme of “Diversity: Celebrating your right to be unique.”
Tanisha Thammavongsa from Tillsonburg took first prize for her poster depicting people of many cultures surrounding a drawing of the globe to show universal diversity. Tanisha’s poster was chosen from among more than 2,000 entries across the province.
